The MAGE Industrie Holding AG, based in Reutlingen, Germany, operates in the in the areas of Roof- , Wall-, Energy- and Fastening Technologies, maintaining production plants in Europe, USA and Malaysia. MAGE owns a network of direct sales organizations throughout the main European markets with its manufacturing activities dating back to the mid 70s.

TiNOX GmbH, has been part of MAGE Industrial Holding AG since 2003 and is based in Munich, Germany. TiNOX was founded in 1994 as a result of a technology transfer between university and industry. In 1995, the first highly selective absorber coating for solar thermal collectors was launched into the market. The new "blue" coating, the original based on Titanium and Quartz, marked a significant increase in performance, following the philosophy of the company to develop an environmentally friendly product. The name TiNOX then became a synonym for highly selective absorber coatings, a pre-emenence it has kept through the years till the present days.
